Luskas Rosol claimed the title of the Advantage Cars Prague Open by Sport-Technik Bohemis. The 33-year-old from the Czech Republic rallied past Aleksandr Nedovyesov from Kazakhstan in Sunday’s singles final of the €43,000 clay-court event.
Rosol sent down four aces, winning 79 per cent of his first service points. He broke his opponent two times to seal victory in two hours and six minutes.
By lifting his ninth ATP Challenger trophy, his first since 2014, Rosol earns €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP-Ranking points. It is his third victory in his home capital, adding to titles won in 2011 and 2014.
Top seeded Belgians Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen took the doubles crown on Saturday. The tandem defeated Fernando Romboli of Brazil and Spaniard David Vega Hernandez 6-4, 6-2 in one hour and seven minutes.
