Top seed Thomas Fabbiano leads the field into the quarterfinals of the $100,000 Nordic Naturals Challenger presented by Santa Cruz County Bank. The 29-year-old emerged victorious from the all-Italian encounter on Thursday against Stefano Napolitano, winning 6-2, 6-2.

Fabbiano saved all three break points he faced, converting four of his own to advance in exactly one hour of play. Next up for the World No. 105 will be US-American wild card entry Martin Redlicki, who beat compatriot Marcos Giron 6-3, 6-4.

Liam Broady edged out fellow Briton Jay Clarke 7-6(3), 6-4 in one hour and 39 minutes to meet Lloyd Harris. The #NextATP South African eased past Joris de Loore of Belgium 6-2, 6-0 in only 52 minutes.
