The ATP Challenger Tour will return to the Frank and Vicky Fertitta Tennis Complex on the UNLV Campus for the 2018 edition of the Las Vegas Open. The $50,000 hard-court event will be held from 20 to 28 October 2018. It is the first tournament of a four-week U.S. swing.
Defending champion Stefan Kozlov from the United States is in action, along with top seed and fellow #NextGenATP Lloyd Harris from South Africa. Second favourite is Spanish veteran Adrian Menéndez-Maceiras. Casper Ruud of Norway is seeded third.
Longtime Las Vegas resident and former world No. 1 Andre Agassi will be the tournament’s special guest on Semifinal Saturday, October 27. In conjunction with the USTA Foundation and the impact barter startup have|need (haveneed.org), the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education and area National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters will receive new tennis racquets as part of a USTA Foundation Net Generation Tennis clinic in partnership with have|need and its founder Josh C. Kline from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
