StarWing Sports Management announced the signing of Karen Khachanov, the Russian tennis star, on a multi-year global representation agreement. Khachanov will be managed by Lawrence Frankopan and his team from 2019 onwards.
Last week, the 22-year-old Moscow native won his third ATP title in front of his home crowd in the Russian capital. He is undefeated in three finals, having also prevailed in Marseille in February and Chengdu in 2016. The current ATP Russian number one entered the ATP Top 20 for the first time.
Khachanov, one of the rising young stars on the ATP Tour, admitted he is eager to start this collaboration, “I believe StarWing Sports Management will bring me stability both on and off the tennis court and allow me to reach my goals. It is essential to work with reliable people and I know Lawrence and his team have a wealth of experience with top players. I am glad to have them by my side to support me every day in the next steps of my career.”
Khachanov will be joining a roster at StarWing which includes 18 Grand Slam Champion and Legend Chrisse Evert, Wimbledon Champion Goran Ivanisevic, Triple Grand Slam Champion Stan Wawrinka, Gael Monfils, Kyle Edmund, Jo Konta, Donna Vekic, Maria Sakkari and Kristina Mladenovic.
