The match-up between Anderson and Chung will be followed on the opening day by Austria’s Dominic Thiem taking on Karen Khachanov of Russia. Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will step into action on Day 2. The 31-year-old Spaniard, who has lifted the trophy in the desert four times, will either face Anderson or Chung. Djokovic will start against the winner of the encoutner between Thiem and Khachanov.
There’s plenty of action off-court as well. The Tennis Village returns once again and has a packed schedule of activities across all three days of the tournament. Tickets can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.ae
