MELBOURNE, December 8, 2018 (Press Release)

Attending the Australian Open will be a whole lot easier for families with the launch of AO Kids Club, the first childcare program accessible to the public in Grand Slam tennis.

AO Kids Club is a professional childcare and entertainment program for children aged between 5-12 years and a brand new way for kids to experience the Australian Open.

Designed and delivered by reputable provider KidsCo, the program is created and run by qualified teachers and combines the best of the AO with a host of interactive games and activities.

Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley is delighted to offer a service that allows more fans to enjoy the tennis.

“We’ve worked extremely hard over the past few years to make the Australian Open one of the most family and kid-friendly events in world sport and I’m delighted we can now offer this tremendous new childcare program.

“Making the Australian Open, and indeed tennis, as accessible as possible to people of all ages is a priority. The AO Kids Club will give young children a great tennis experience which will help us achieve our goal of growing the sport.”

The half and full day programs will include different daily activities as well as priority access to the AO Ballpark, tennis lessons, the Sports Film Festival and other entertainment.

The AO Kids Club will operate each day of the Australian Open with prices starting from $55. Bookings must be made in advance and can be accessed atticketek.com.au/kidsclub.
