Top two seeds Arina Rodionova (Vic) and Ellen Perez (NSW) progressed, with AO Play-off 2017 winner Jaimee Fourlis (Vic) also earning a place in the quarterfinals. Abbie Myers (NSW) and Kaylah McPhee (Qld) caused the biggest upsets of the day ousting 2018 champion [7] Destanee Aiava (Vic) and [6] Lizette Cabrera (Qld).

Men’s quarterfinal action will get underway on Wednesday, with top seed Alex Bolt(SA) taking on [5] Akira Santillan (Qld), last weekend’s 18/u Australian champion Rinky Hijikata (NSW) will take on [3] James Duckworth (NSW), [2]John-Patrick Smith (NSW) will play Maverick Banes and Dayne Kelly will face Luke Saville for a spot in the semifinals.
