ABU DHABI, December 25, 2018
Players are getting ready to kick off the new season at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi. For the 11th time some of the sport’s best competitors gather in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates to prepare for the new tennis year. The tournament will run between 27th and 29th December 2018 at Zayed Sports City.
On the first day, defending champion Kevin Anderson and young gun Hyeon Chung will open the action followed by Austria’s Dominic Thiem facing Karen Khachanov from Russia. The battle of the Williams Sisters will highlight the evening session. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and 17-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal will step into action on Friday.
