FLASH Entertainment, organizers of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship (MWTC), indulged tennis fans on Friday with an exclusive cook-off between MWTC defending champion, Kevin Anderson and two chefs from Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Villas.

Anderson took time out ahead of his match with world number two, Rafael Nadal to make a special appearance in the Tennis Village at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City – and showed his fans that he’s not only an ace on the court, but also in the kitchen too. During the cook off Australian legend and MWTC ambassador Pat Cash, also spoke to the MWTC defending champion, with the 6ft8 South African commenting that the cook off could be the secret ingredient to him winning later that day!

Anderson then went on to comment on his up and coming match against Nadal: ‘”I’m really excited to get out there. This is a great opportunity to take the court against Rafa. He’s the kinda guy you need to beat if you want to reach the top!”

Throughout Day Two of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, visitors were also treated to exclusive autograph signings and selfie opportunities with Kevin Anderson and world number one Novak Djokovic, as well as fun games and tennis-themed activities.
