Hobart International 2019 second round matches are complete, setting up an interesting quarterfinal line-up on Thursday.

Wednesday’s highlights included the all-French duel which saw Alize Cornet defeat compatriot Pauline ParmentierBelinda Bencic from Switzerland knocked out local talent Zoe Hives, US-American Sofia Kenin continued her impressive run defeating Ons Jabeur of Tunisia, and Dayana Yastremska from the Ukraine won the battle of the young guns taking out Vera Lapko of Belarus.
