Frenchman Ugo Humbert has clinched his first title of the season. The 20-year-old top seed took the title of the 26th edition of the Challenger-Cherbourg-La Manche held at the Complexe Sportif Chantereyne. Humbert rallied past Belgian veteran Steve Darcis 6-7(6), 6-3, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final.
Humbert, who advanced to title match without dropping set, saved all six break points he faced, converting three of his own to prevail after two hours and 22 minutes.

By lifting his fourth ATP Challenger title, the Next Gen ATP player earns €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP-Ranking points. Humbert has become the youngest Frenchman to win four titles since Richard Gasquet in 2003.
Earlier in the day, Robert Galloway and Nathaniel Lammons took the doubles title. The No. 2 seeded US-Americans fought past Javier Barranco Casano of Spain and Raul Brancaccio from Italy 4-6, 7-6(4), 10-8. The encounter lasted one hour and 13 minutes.
