Julia Görges will return to the NÜRNBERGER Versicherungscup this year. This was announced by the organizers of the WTA International event, which will be held for the seventh time at the venue of the 1.Fc Nürnberg from 18 to 25 May 2019.

“I am looking forward to play at the NÜRNBERGER Versicherungscup 2019 in front of my home crowd. I’d love to win the tournament, sharing the trophy with my fans,” says 30-year-old Fed Cup player Görges, who finally wants to claim the coveted title at her home tournament.

For tournament organizer Sandra Reichel, a great wish comes true: “Jule has always been one of the spectators’ favorites in Nuremberg. We are very happy that this well-liked player remains loyal to the NÜRNBERGER Versicherungscup.”
