Tickets for the 2019 Western & Southern Open will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12.
Professional tennis returns to the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason for the August 10-18 Western & Southern Open. Last year, 14 of the 16 sessions during the tournament week sold out as more than 194,000 fans attended the event.
Annually the Western & Southern Open welcomes the world’s top players to participate in this prestigious event which crowned Novak Djokovic and Kiki Bertens as singles champions in 2018.
Roger Federer is seven-time champion of the Western & Southern Open, which, as an ATP Masters 1000, is mandatory for the top men in the ATP Rankings. On the women’s side, as a WTA Premier 5, at least seven of the Top 10 WTA players will be expected in the field, with two-champion Serena Williamsamong those players with Cincinnati on their schedule.
While the tournament will include 216 matches, there will be plenty of action off court for fans. More than 14 restaurants are featured in the food court and around the grounds to complement the half dozen themed bars at the facility.
Throughout the week more than 30 musical acts will perform on the grounds. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy savory samples at the daily cooking demonstrations hosted by celebrity chefs.
There will also be opportunities to aspiring tennis players to get on the court with pro players during Kids Day and High School Day. Plus practice sessions throughout the week will allow fans the unique opportunity see players up close and personal, and pursue the coveted autographs and selfies from the stars.
