One year ago Matteo Berrettini fell to Mikhail Kukushkin in the final of the Irving Tennis Classic. On Sunday, the 22-year-old Italian got his revenge in the Arizona Tennis Classic championship match. Berrettini rallied past the No. 4 seed from Kazakhstan 3-6, 7-6(6), 7-6(2).
The World No. 52 from Rome fired 12 aces, winning 75 per cent of his first service points to seal victory in two hours and 50 minutes.

By lifting his third ATP Challenger trophy, Berrettini earns $21,600 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points.
Earlier in the day at The Phoenix Country Club, Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski took the doubles crown. The top seeds from Great Britain fought past Austin Krajicek from the United States and Artem Sitak of New Zealand 6-7(2), 7-5, 10-6. The final lasted one hour and 45 minutes.
