Top seed Ricardas Berankis captured the title of the $162,480 Busan Open held at the Spo 1 Park Tennis Courts. The World No. 95 from Lithuania defeated Lloyd Harris from South Africa 7-6(5), 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
Berankis, who advanced to the title match with wins over Liam Broady from Great Britain, Korea’s Duckhee Lee and Yunseong Chung as well as Yasutaka Uchiyama of Japan, broke his opponen’t serve two times to prevail after one hour and 26 minutes.

Berankis takes away from South Korea $21,600 in prize money as well as 125 ATP-Ranking points. The Vilnius resident took his third ATP Challenger trophy of the season following his triumphs in Rennes, France and Drummundville, Canada.
Cheng-Peng Hsieh/Rungkat take doubles title
Earlier in the day, Cheng-Peng Hsieh of Taipei and Christopher Rungkat from Indonesia took the doubles title.
The No. 1 seeds edged past Toshihide Matsui of Japan and Vishnu Vardhan from India 7-6(7), 6-1, winning the final in one hour and nine minutes.
