Deniz Khazaniuk clinched her first title of the season, winning the fourth edition of the Óbidos Ladies Open. The 24-year-old from Israel won the the singles final of the ITF World Tennis Tour W25 event held at the Guardian Sports Club against Nuria Parrizas-Diaz of Spain 6-1, 2-6, 6-1.
Khazaniuk, seeded third, capitalized on nine of her 12 break point chances to prevail after one hour and 58 minutes.
“It was a fantastic week for me, only with good vibes and I hope to be able to keep this spirit until the end of the year. The weather was always good and I hope I can to return as soon as possible,” Khazaniuk said.
The World No. 257 in the WTA Rankings will next play the W25 hard-court event on home soil in Jerusalem.
