HAMBURG, June 2, 2019
Organizers of the Hamburg European Open announced on Sunday that Jan-Lennard Struff will play at this year’s Rothenbaum ATP 500 clay-court event. The tournament will be held from 20 to 28 July, 2019.
“I always like to come to Hamburg, I just love the city and I’m curious to see what the new roof will be like,” said Struff, who advanced to the fourth round at Roland Garros. The 29-year-old has reached the second week of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.
Struff will join fellow German Philipp Kohlschreiber, who will make his 15th appearance in Hamburg, as well as World No. 4 Dominic Thiem of Austria and Italy’s Fabio Fognini.
