Men’s singles final at the ITF Future Nord is set. Daniel Altmaier from Germany will take on Christian Lindell of Sweden for the title at the $15,000 ITF World Tennis Tour event, held on clay at the Tennisclub an der Schirnau in Kaltenkirchen.

Altmaier defeated Swiss qualifier Damien Wenger 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday afternoon. The No. 8 seed capitalized on three of his six break point chances to advance in one hour and 33 minutes.

Meanwhile, Lindell emerged victorious from the all-Swedish encounter with No. 4 seed Markus Eriksson, winning 6-2, 6-4. The World No. 112 in the ITF World Tennis Rankings outpointed his compatriot 70-55 in one hour and 42 minutes.

Altmaier and Lindell will meet for the first time. Lindell is seeking his second title of the season following his triumph in Santa Margeritha di Pula. Altmaier could lift his first trophy since 2017.

Yuki Nato of Japan is the first women to reach the final. The No. 2 seed awaits either compatriot Natsumi Kawaguchi or top seed Clara Tauson of Denmark. Their match was suspended at 6-7, 5-2 due to bad weather.
