M15 Orlando USA – Diego Hidalgo captures his maiden title in Florida
The traditional Orlando Tennis Series took place at the USTA National Campus in Florida. This venue already welcomed the Orlando Open, an ATP Challenger 90 event, earlier this season.
No. 6 seeded Diego Hidalgo, who played college tennis at the University of Florida, dominated the competition without losing a set the entire week.
The 26-year-old from Ecuador emerged victorious from the semi-final versus No. 8 seed Alan Kohen of Argentina.
Runner-up Ricardo Rodriguez from Venezuela, who entered the tournament on position two, battled past No. 7 seeded US-American Strong Kirchheimer in the stage of the last four in three sets.
In the title match, both players used 100 per cent of their break point chances. Left handed Hidalgo broke his rival for four times by losing one service game, to secure a 6-1, 6-4 victory after 84 minutes. Hidalgo, who was ranked ITF No. 16 as a junior, celebrated his first singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Toulouse FRA – Benjamin Bonzi wins at home
The Internationaux de Toulouse, held at Stade Toulousain Tennis Club concluded with the victory of Benjamin Bonzi.
In the all-French semi-finals, the 23-year-old top seed advanced versus No. 8 seeded Maxime Chazal in two clear sets.
The tournament’s No. 3 Hugo Gaston, who was ranked No. 2 in ITF Juniors last year, knocked off left-handed Gregoire Jacq in straight sets.
Lasting 84 minutes, Nimes native Bonzi capitalized on four of his 13 break point opportunities by losing two service games, to get the victory with 6-4, 6-4. He celebrated his eighth title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Tulsa USA – Maxime Cressy prevails in Oklahoma
22-year-old Maxime Cressy triumphed at the Tulsa Pro Championships, hosted by the Philcrest Hills Tennis Club, to celebrate his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
In the all-US American semi-finals, the top seed advanced versus No. 4 seeded Martin Redlicki in straight sets.
Last week’s Wichita-champion Sam Riffice knocked off wildcard entry Ezekiel Clark in two sets, to set the spot for the final.
Firing 10 aces in 63 minutes, Paris native Cressy sealed a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the title match against his 20-year-old rival. After his championship at the ATP-Challenger 90 event in Cleveland earlier this season, he lifted his second singles trophy in 2019.
M25 Hengyang CHN – Harry Bourchier captures his fourth trophy of the season
The 2019 Hengyang Open, held at Boya Tennis Park, culminated in the triumph of Harry Bourchier, who celebrated his fourth trophy this season on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The 23-year-old from Tasmania, who is representing Australia, knocked off Japanese No. 8 seed Rio Noguchi in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Runner-up Fajing Sun from China made the last step to the final in beating ITF entry Tsung-Hao Huang from Chinese Taipei in two sets.
Strucking five aces 82 minutes, No. 3 seeded Bourchier got the final win against his 22-year-old rival with 7-6, 6-1.
M25 Martos ESP – Eduardo Struvay dominates in Martos
Qualifier Eduardo Struvay got the trophy of the Jaen Paraiso Interior, held at Club Tenis Martos, without dropping a set during the competition.
The 28-year-old Colombian emerged victorious from the semi-final encounter versus Belgian No. 3 seed Yannick Mertens.
Top seeded Kevin King from the United States stopped the run of Spanish Teenager Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, who entered the tournament on position 6, in the stage of the final four in two clear sets. 16-year-old Alcaraz Garfia drew attention by his great ATP-Challenger appearances in Alicante and Murcia earlier this season.
Lasting 68 minutes, Struvay broke his left-handed contemporary opponent five times by losing one service game to get the final win with 6-3, 6-2. The Pereira native lifted his 12th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour. Additional to his singles title, he clinched the doubles trophy alongside Jaume Pla Malfeito from Spain.
M15 Netanya ISR – Teenager Yshai Oliel triumphs on home soil
Yshai Oliel clinched the title of the M15 Netanya tournament, held at the Netanya Municipal Tennis Club.
The 19-year-old Israeli, who entered the tournament on position four, emerged victorious from the semi-final encounter versus No. 2 seeded Frenchman Quentin Robert in two sets.
No. 5 seeded Gilbert Klier Junior, who was ranked No. 10 in ITF Juniors last year, advanced in the stage of the last four in beating No. 3 seeded Vladyslav Orlov from Ukraine in straight sets.
Winning six points more than his contemporary opponent in the title match, left-handed Oliel secured a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory, lasting two hours and 30 minutes. The former No. 4 in ITF Juniors celebrated his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Balatonalmadi HUN – Christopher O’Connell clinches his third title of the season
Christopher O’Connell is the champion of the Balatonalmadi Open 2019, which was held at the Balatonalmadi Tenisz Klub.
The No. 5 seed knocked off unseeded Argentinian Mariano Kestelboim in the semi-finals in three sets.
Local hero Gergely Madarasz, who entered the tournament in the qualifying competition, rallied past Russian No. 5 seed Artem Dubrivnyy in the stage of the final four in a tough three-set battle.
Sydney native O-Connell broke his 24-year-old opponent for four times without dropping a service game, to finish the one-sided title match after 66 minutes with 6-3, 6-1. The 25-year-old Australian lifted his ninth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, the third in 2019.
M15 Gimcheon KOR – Hard-court specialist Seong Chan Hong claims his third title of the season
No. 7 seeded Seong Chan Hong got the crown of the ITF Gimcheon Men’s Tennis Tour tournament, held at Gimcheon Sports Town Tennis Courts.
The 21-year-old Korean, who battled past Japanese No. 6 seed Ryota Tanuma in the semi-finals in two clear sets, faced 20-year-old Japanese Yuta Shimizu in the title match. Left handed top seed Shimizu was previously ranked ITF No. 5 as a junior.
Capitalizing on five of his eight break point opportunities by losing two service games, Hong sealed a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory after one hour and 44 minutes. The former No. 2 in ITF Junior rankings lifted his ninth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them on hard courts.
M15 Harare ZIM – Takanyi Garanganga clinches home title
Local hero Takanyi Garanganga prevailed at the M15 Harare tournament, held at the Harare Sports Club.
The 28-year-old top seed, who defeated Indian S D Prajwal Dev in the stage of the last four in straight sets, faced Canadian qualifier Martin Beran in the title match.
Atlanta resident Garanganga withstood 12 aces of his his 23-year rival to claim a 6-3, 6-4 win after 83 minutes. He celebrated his ninth overall title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Tabarka TUN – Third title in 2019 for Teenager Sebastian Baez
Sebastian Baez is the got the trophy of the Magic Tours tournament, held at Thabraca Magic Hotel.
The 18-year-old Buenos Aires native, who was ranked No. 1 in ITF Juniors last year, entered the tournament by his junior ranking. In the semi-finals, he knocked off Adam Moundir from Switzerland in straight sets.
Qualifier Alexander Weis made the last step to the final in defeating Tunisian No. 3 seed Aziz Dougaz in three sets.
Outpointing his 24-year-old rival by the score of 61-41, Argentinian Baez sealed the final win with 6-2, 6-4 in 73 minutes to lift his third trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2019.

M15 Sao Jose do Rio Preto BRA – Clay-court specialist Juan Pablo Ficovich earns his second title of the season
Top seeded Juan Pablo Ficovich dominated the Ano II-Tennis Classic, hosted at Harmonia Tenis Clube, without losing a set during the tournament.
The 22-year-old Argentinian rallied past Brazilian No. 7 seed Felipe Meligeni Rodrigues Alves in the stage of the last four.
Tournament’s No. 7 Rafael Matos got victorious from the all-Brazilian semi-final versus No. 4 seeded Oscar Jose Gutierrez in straight sets.
Converting four of his 11 break point chances by dropping one service game, Buenos Aires native Ficovich claimed a 6-4, 6-2 victory against his 23-year-old rival, lasting 91 minutes. He lifted his seventh singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them achieved on clay-court.
