LUDWIGSHAFEN, July 3, 2019
The top two seeds led the way on a busy Wednesday at the Ludwigshafen Challenger. No. 1 seed Henri Laaksonen opened up his campaign for a third title this season, defeating Lucas Miedler of Austria 6-4, 7-6(4).

Laaksonen, who lost to Jason Kubler in the first round of the qualifying at Wimbledon, will next be challenged by Constant Lestienne. The 27-year-old Frenchman beat Thiemo de Bakker from the Netherlands 6-3, 6-4.
