M15 Milovice CZE – Jan Satral ends title drought

Following his last championship in 2016, Jan Satral won the title of the Milovice Indoor Open 2019, hosted at Milten Sport Centrum Milovice.

The 29-year-old Czech knocked off Italian No. 3 seed Riccardo Balzerani in the stage of the last four in straight sets.

Qualifier Martin Krumich from the Czech Republic battled through the top half of the draw, defeating Vadym Ursu from the Ukraine in two sets.

No. 2 seeded Satral won 92 per cent of his first-service points, firing nine aces, to secure a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the 76 minutes lasting championship match. The Prague resident, who reached a career high at World No. 136 in 2016, lifted his ninth trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his two title wins on the ATP Challenger Tour.

M15 Villers Les Nancy FRA – Teenager Harold Mayot seals his maiden title

Harold Mayot clinched the trophy of the Open Grand Nancy Villers, held at Comite Departemental de Tennis de meurthe et Moselle.

The 17-year-old, who is currently leading the ITF Junior Finals Road to Chengdu, emerged victorious from the all-French semi-final clash versus qualifier Titouan Droguet in straight sets.

Frenchman Ronan Joncour, who entered the competition on position seven, made the last step to the final by beating Dutch qualifier Justin Eleveld in three sets.

Junior entry Mayot struck 10 aces and won 74 per cent of his first-service points to get the final win by the score of 6-4, 6-2. The Metz native, who is coached by the former No. 10 of the World Thierry Tulasne, celebrated his first title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Orlando USA – Nicolas Alvarez prevails in Florida

The Oracle Pro Series, hosted at USTA National Campus in Orlando, concluded with the triumph of Nicolas Alvarez. In addition to his championship in the singles competition, the Peruvian clinched the doubles trophy together with Pedro Sakamoto from Brazil.

In the semi-finals, which featured all top-four favourites, the No. 3 seed battled past Spanish top seed Javier Barranco Cosano in straight sets.

No. 2 seeded Brazilian Pedro Sakamoto took the last step to the final by defeating Argentinean No. 4 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry in three sets.

23-year-old Alvarez outpointed his rival in the title match by the score of 93-84 to celebrate a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win in two hours and eight minutes. The Quito-born lifted his fourth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his third in 2019.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Karim-Mohamed Maamoun captures another title on home soil

Karim-Mohamed Maamoun got victorious at the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, held at Soho Square.

The 28-year-old Egyptian rallied down No. 4 seeded lefty Vladyslav Manavov from the Ukraine in the semi-finals in three sets.

No. 8 seeded teenager Alexey Zakharov from Russia advanced from the bottom half of the draw, beating Spanish No. 3 seed Pablo Vivero Gonzalez in straight sets.

Top seed Maamoun withstood 11 aces from his 19-year-old opponent to prevail 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 in two hours and 35 minutes. The Cairo-born celebrated his 17th title on ITF World Tennis Tour, his seventh in 2019 and all won on home soil.

M15 Cancun MEX – Paul Jubb dominates in Mexico

Paul Jubb prevailed at the M15 Cancun tournament, hosted at Cancun Tennis Academy, without losing a set the entire week.

The British No. 8 seed stopped the run of Canadian qualifier David Volfson in the stage of the final four in straight sets.

The tournament’s No. 7 Joao Lucas Reis da Silva from Brazil, who clinched the title in Cancun last week, edged out left-handed wildcard entry Tigre Hank from Mexico in the semi-finals in two sets.

20-year-old Jubb dropped two service games in the championship match and converted five of his 10 break-point chances to seal a 7-6, 6-0 victory after one hour and 46 minutes. The York native lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Meshref KUW – Teenager Gauthier Onclin captures his maiden title

Gauthier Onclin claimed the trophy of the M15 Meshref tournament, held at Kuwait Tennis Federation, to celebrate his first title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 18-year-old Belgian emerged victorious from the semi-final battle of the teenagers against Valentin Royer from France in three sets. Both players reached World No. 8 as a career high at ITF Juniors ranking.

German No. 3 seed Kai Wehnelt, who played college tennis for the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, received a walkover in the stage of the final four from No. 2 seeded Marko Tepavac. The Serb clinched back-to-back titles in Meshref in the last two weeks.

Unseeded Onclin, who knocked off Venezuelan top seed Ricardo Rodriguez in the opening round, broke his 23-year-old rival three times and dropped one service game in the title match, to prevail 6-3, 6-4 in 94 minutes.

M15 Heraklion GRE – Alexander Erler celebrates second title of the season

The 15th Lyttos Beach tournament, held at Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy in Heraklion, concluded with the championship of Alexander Erler.

The Austrian No. 4 seed came from the top half of the draw and defeated top seeded Yshai Oliel from Israel in three sets. Left-handed teenager Oliel was ranked ITF No. 4 as a junior.

Unseeded Jan Zielinski from Poland stopped the run of US-American qualifier Patrick Kypson in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Innsbruck-born Erler converted five of his 14 break-point opportunities and lost one service game in the title match, to secure a 7-5, 6-1 win after one hour and 36 minutes. After his title on home soil in Wels earlier this season, the 22-year-old lifted his second title in 2019, his fifth on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Maputo MOZ – Kelsey Stevenson earns his first title

Kelsey Stevenson is the champion of the Standard Bank Open, hosted at Clube de Tenis de Maputo.

The 29-year-old Canadian eased past Czech teenager Dominik Palan in the stage of the last four in straight sets.

Spanish No. 3 seed David Perez Sanz, who claimed the title in Maputo last week, knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Benjamin Lock from Zimbabwe in the semi-finals in three sets.

Winning 82 per cent of his first-service points, No. 8 seeded Kelsey got the final win by the score of 7-6, 6-2 after one hour and 38 minutes. The Toronto native celebrated his first singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Monastir TUN – Kristjan Tamm clinches his maiden trophy

Kristjan Tamm triumphed at the Magic Tours tournament, which was held at Hotel Skanes Family, to lift his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The unseeded Estonian advanced from the bottom half of the draw, beating Italian No. 6 seed Daniele Capecchi in three sets.

Italian Andrea Guerrieri made the last step to the final by defeating qualifier Aziz Kijametovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina in straight sets.

21-year-old Tamm capitalized on five of his 11 break-point-chances and dropped one service game in the championship match, to prevail 6-3, 6-1 in 74 minutes.

Top seeded Hernan Casanova from Argentina rallied down French teenager Luka Pavlovic in the semi-finals in three sets.

Plovdiv-born Kuzmanov outpointed his 25-year-old rival 80-70 in the title match to seal a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 victory in about two hours of play. Following his championship at the same place earlier this season, he celebrated his second title in 2019 and his 19th on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
