Top-seed Yuki Bhambri is the champion of the US-$ 50,000 KPIT-MSLTA ATP Challenger in Pune, winning the final against the tournament’s number two Evgeny Donskoy 6-2, 7-6.
The world number 105 from India smashed eight aces, won 86% of his first service points and saved the only break point he faced to lift his second ATP Challenger title of the season, following his victory in Shanghai after one hour and 15 minutes.
Bhambri clinched his fifth Challenger career title and takes away US-$ 7,200 in prize money as well as 80 ATP ranking points.
