The third edition of the Marbella Tennis Open was launched on Wednesday afternoon at the City Hall of Marbella attended by the mayor of Marbella, María María Muñoz Uriol, the Secretary General for Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, Jose María Arrabal, the Councilor for Sports of Marbella, Manuel Miguel Cardeña, World No. 87 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina as well as the tournament director and CEO of Champ Events Spain, Ronnie Leitgeb.
The organizers announced a new title sponsor, as the 2020 edition of the ATP Challenger event will bear the name of AnyTech365, one of the leading European PC and Internet Help and Support companies based in Marbella.
The ATP Challenger clay-court event will be held from March 30 to April 5, 2020 at the Puente Romano Tennis Club. The winner of the tournament will receive €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points. Pablo Andujar lifted the trophy in March this year following a 4-6, 7-6(6), 6-4 win over top seed Benoit Paire of France in a topsy-tury singles final. The second edition of the tournament has surpassed with excellent note the supervision of the representatives of the ATP.
