The men’s and women’s semifinals are set for the Australian Open 2020 Wildcard Play-off, where some of Australia’s top players are competing for a coveted Australian Open 2020 wildcard.
Women’s quarterfinal action wrapped on Thursday, with Arina Rodionova (Vic), Belinda Woolcock (Vic), Abbie Myers (NSW) and Storm Sanders (WA) progressing through to the semis.

Tomorrow will see Alex Bolt (SA) up against Max Purcell (NSW), and Maverick Banes (Qld) facing John-Patrick Smith (Qld) in the men’s semifinals. The women’s doubles final will also take place with Gabriella Da Silva Fick (NSW) and Olivia Tjandramulia (Qld) taking on Amber Marshall (SA) and Alexandra Bozovic (NSW) competing for a wildcard into Australian Open 2020 women’s doubles field.
The December Showdown presented by Kia continues tomorrow with the 16/u and 12/u Australian Championships quarterfinals.
