M15 Heraklion GRE – Boris Pokotilov clinches his maiden title
Boris Pokotilov is the champion of the 15th Lyttos Beach tournament, held at Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy in Heraklion, Crete.
The Russian qualifier fought through the bottom half of the draw, beating No. 2 seeded Israeli Yshai Oliel, who was ranked World No. 4 as a junior, in three sets.
Junior entry Alibek Kachmazov set the all-Russian final with a two-set win against No. 8 seeded Simon Carr from Ireland.
Twenty-two year-old Pokotilov outpointed his 17-year-old opponent 117-103 to get the final win after two hours and 43 minutes by the score of 6-7, 6-2, 7-6. The Rostov-on-don native lifted his first ever trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
“I am happy to win the tournament from qualifying and I hope for more to come in the future,” Pokotilov said during the award ceremony. “Thank you to Lyttos Beach for a great event and high-quality facilities.”
M15 Tallahassee USA – Teenager Anton Matusevich prevails in Florida
Anton Matusevich emerged victorious at the M15 Tallahassee tournament, hosted by Florida State University.
The 18-year-old Briton benefited in the semi-finals from the retirement of Canadian No. 4 seed Alexis Galarneau at the score of 6-4, 2-1.
No. 8 seeded Guy Orly Iradukunda from Burundi took the last step to the final by defeating US-American No. 4 seed Strong Kirchheimer in three sets.
Winning six points more than his 23-year-old rival in the championship match, No. 5 seeded Matusevich sealed a 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 win after one hour and 43 minutes. Following his maiden title in Getafe earlier this season, he celebrated his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Santa Domingo DOM – Jan Choinski takes the title
German-Born Jan Choinski, who is representing Great Britain, captured the title of the M15 Santo Domingo tournament, which was held at Centro Nacional de Tenis Parque del Este.
The top seed emerged victorious from the all-British semi-final clash versus Paul Jubb, who entered the tournament on position five, in two sets.
The tournament’s second favourite Camilo Ugo Carabelli from Argentina fought past Bolivian No. 8 seed Federico Zeballos in the stage of the last four in three sets.
Twenty-three year-old Choinski capitalized on six of his 11 break-point chances without facing a break point in the title match, to prevail 6-0, 6-0 in 54 minutes. The Koblenz born lifted his 10th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his second in 2019.
M15 Nonthaburi THA – Danylo Kalenichenko celebrates first triumph on hard court
The M15 Nonthaburi tournament, held at The Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, concluded with the victory of Danylo Kalenichenko.
The 25-year-old Ukrainian advanced from the bottom half of the draw, beating No. 3 seeded Dimitar Kuzmanov in three sets.
Japanese No. 2 seed Makoto Ochi stopped the run of Czech qualifier Dominik Palan in the semi-finals in straight sets.
No. 5 seeded Kalinichenko outpointed his left-handed rival in the championship match 67-55 to secure a 6-4, 6-4 win in one hour and 27 minutes. The Kiev native celebrated his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, winning the titles on three different surfaces: hard court, clay and carpet.
M15 Cairo EGY – Pol Martin Tiffon earns his maiden title
Barcelona-born Pol Martin Tiffon triumphed at the M15 Cairo tournament, hosted at Al-Solaimaneyah Tennis Center, to lift his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The 20-year-old Spaniard rallied past Facundo Juarez from Argentina in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Argentinean No. 8 seed Fermin Tenti emerged victorious from a tough three-set battle in the semi-finals versus Oleg Prihodko from the Ukraine.
No. 6 seeded Martin Tiffon capitalized on five of his nine break-point opportunities in the title match to prevail 6-2, 6-1 in 74 minutes.

M15 Monastir TUN – Calvin Hemery captures his third title of the season
Calvin Hemery is the champion of the Magic Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family.
The French No. 3 seed battled through the bottom half of the draw by beating Czech junior entry Dalibor Svrcina in two sets.
The tournament’s top favourite Arthur Rinderknech booked the spot in the all-French final with a straight-set win versus Russian No. 4 seed Evgenii Tiurnev.
Twenty-four year-old Hemery won 79 per cent of his first-service points to secure a 7-6, 6-4 victory after two hours and 18 minutes. The Paris resident celebrated his seventh singles trophy on the ITF Tour, his third in 2019.
M15 Santa Maria COL – Alejandro Gomez ends title drought
The M15 Santa Maria tournament, held at Complejo de Raquetas la Libertad, concluded with the championship of Alejandro Gomez.
In the all-Colombian semi-finals, the 28-year-old knocked off the tournament’s top seed Nicolas Mejia, who was ranked World No. 4 in ITF juniors last year, in straight sets.
Nicolas Barrientos made the last step to the final by defeating No. 4 seeded Juan Sebastian Gomez, who was ranked World No. 1 as a junior, in two sets.
Firing 19 aces in the championship match, No. 3 seeded Gomez prevailed 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 in one hour and 47 minutes. The Cali-born lifted his fifth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his four championships in 2016.
M15 Cancun MEX – Nick Chappell dominates in Mexico
Left-handed Nick Chappell clinched the trophy of the Cancun Tennis Cup, hosted at Cancun Tennis Academy, without losing a set the entire week.
The Toronto native, who is representing the United States, upset top favourite and compatriot Gage Brymer.
No. 2 seeded Jorge Brian Panta from Peru stopped the run of Japanese teenager Shintaro Mochizuki in the stage of the final four in straight sets. 16-year-old Mochizuki captured the title of the Junior Championships in Wimbledon and was ranked World No. 1 in ITF Juniors earlier this season.
Twenty-seven year-old Chappell converted four of his seven break-point chances and dropped one service game in the title match to seal a 6-3, 6-3 win after one hour and 43 minutes. The No. 3 seed celebrated his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour after his maiden title in Canada last season.
M15 Antalya TUR – Fabian Marozsan captures his maiden title
Budapest-born Fabian Marozsan took the title of the GD Tennis Cup Series, held at Kaya Belek Resort Hotel in Antalya, to lift his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour
The 20-year-old Hungarian took the last step to the final by defeating Russian top seed Pavel Kotov in straight sets.
Russian No. 2 seed Ronald Slobodchikov rallied past Bart Stevens from the Netherlands in the semi-finals in two sets.
In the championship match, No 6 seeded Marozsan won 79 per cent of his first-service points to prevail 7-5, 6-4 in one hour and 44 minutes.
