Maden Leads Koblenz Open Entry List

Yannick Maden

KOBLENZ, January 28, 2020

The ATP Challenger Tour will return to Germany next month and local favourite Yannick Maden leads the entry list of the Koblenz Open to be held from February 17 to 23 at CGM Arena in Koblenz. The World No. 125, who opened his season in Australia and is currently still competing Down Under, cracked the Top 100 for the first time last year but is still seeking his first singles title on the ATP Challenger Tour.

Maden will be part of a strong German contingent and will be joined by Oscar Otte, Dustin Brown, Yannick Hanfmann, Jeremy Jahn, Benjamin Hassan, Peter Heller, Julian Lenz, Maximilian Marterer, Daniel Masur and 2018 champion Mats Moraing.

In-form Belgian veteran Ruben Bemelmans will also be part of the line-up. The 32-year-old claimed his 13th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour at the MLP Cup in Nußloch last week and lifted the trophy at the inaugural Koblenz Open back in 2017.

Czech teenager Tomas Machac, Spanish young gun and two-time champion on the ATP Challenger Tour Nicola Kuhn as well as 21-year-old Russian Pavel Kotov will represent the Next Gens at the €46,600 hard-court event.
