The ITF has today announced the schedule for the round-robin stage of the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Finals in Budapest on 14-19 April.

All 12 nations will play two group-stage ties to determine the winners of the four groups of three teams, who will then progress to the semi-finals. Each tie will consist of two singles matches (best-of-three tiebreak sets) and a doubles match (two tiebreak sets with no-ad scoring and the third set played as a 10-point match tiebreak).  For the Final, the doubles match will be the best of three tiebreak sets with no-ad scoring.

Eleven-time Fed Cup champions Czech Republic will face Switzerland in the opening tie on Tuesday 14 April, before 18-time winners USA take on Slovakia in the evening session. Team nominations for all 12 nations will be announced on Monday 16 March.

Tickets are now on sale for all sessions at the Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Finals in Budapest, with multi-session passes also available for the group stages, finals weekend and the entire event. A 20% Super Early Bird discount is available on all tickets and passes until Friday 21 February 2020.
