M25 Potchefstroom RSA – Benjamin Bonzi captures his second season title
In-form Benajmin Bonzi clinched the trophy of the North-West University Open in Potchefstroom.
The 23-year-old emerged victorious from the all-French semi-final clash versus Matteo Martineau in three sets.
German Tobias Simon, who is the world-record holder with 52 aces in a best-of-three match on the ATP Tour, took the last step to the final by beating Sadio Doumbia from France in straight sets.
No. 3 seeded Bonzi withstood the 16 aces from his 28-year-old rival in the title match to triumph after one hour and 43 minutes by the score of 7-6(12), 6-4. The Nimes native, who reached his fourth consecutive final on the ITF Pro Circuit, lifted his 11th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his second in 2020.
Bonzi is trying to continue his good run of form at this week’s ATP Challenger 50 event in Potchefstroom.
M25 Mildura AUS – Brydan Klein triumphs on Australian grass
Perth-born Brydan Klein, who is representing Great-Britain, got the championship of the Mildura Tennis International, hosted at Mildura Lawn Tennis Club.
The former No. 4 in the ITF Junior’s ranking defeated the tournament’s top favourite Dayne Kelly from Australia in the semi-finals in two sets.
No. 4 seed Rio Noguchi from Japan stopped the run of Australian qualifier Scott Puodziunas with a straight-set victory in the semi-finals.
Thirty-year-old Klein struck seven aces and won 76 per cent of his first-service points to seal a 7-5, 6-3 victory in the championship match after one hour and 29 minutes. The No. 3 seed celebrated his 18th career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his ATP-Challenger title in Burnie 2009.
M25 Las Vegas USA – Petros Chrysochos gains the trophy in Nevada
The Oracle Pro Series – M25 Las Vegas, held at Darling Tennis Center, concluded with the victory of Petros Chrysochos.
The 23-year-old Cypriot edged out No. 8 seeded Alex Rybakow from the United States in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Justin Butsch emerged victorious from the all-US-American semi-final encounter against No. 5 seeded Nick Chappell after three tie-break sets.
Larnaca-born Chrysochos dropped one service game in the title match and converted six of his eight break-point opportunities to prevail 6-2, 6-1 in about one hour. The No. 6 seed lifted his seventh singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Hurlingham ARG – Facundo Diaz Acosta victorious in all-Argentinean affair
Left-handed Facundo Diaz Acosta captured the title of the M25 Hurlingham tournament, hosted at Hurlingham Club in Buenos Aires.
In the all-Argentinean semi-finals, the former junior World No. 6 knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Francisco Cerundolo in straight sets.
No. 5 seeded Juan Manuel Cerundolo rallied past Hernan Casanova, the No. 4 seed, in three sets.
Winning 83 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match, 19-year-old Diaz Acosta claimed a 6-4, 6-3 win after 84 minutes. Following his maiden title in Santa Cristina val Gardena last season, the Buenos Aires-born celebrated his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Murcia ESP – Pablo Llamas Ruiz earns his maiden title

Pablo Llamas Ruiz emerged victorious at the International Club de Tenis de Campo Murcia, held at the venue of Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia, to lift his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The wildcard entrant won the all-Spanish semi-final battle against Eduard Esteve Lobato in three sets.
Argentinean Pedro Cachin, who was ranked ITF No. 8 as a junior, made the last step to the final by beating Alvaro Lopez San Martin from Spain in three sets.
Seventeen-year-old Llamas Ruiz outpointed his unseeded opponent in the title match by the score of 88-81 to get the final victory after one hour and 45 minutes with 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
M15 Faro POR – Sebastian Fanselow prevails at the Algarve
Sebastian Fanselow took the title of the M15 Faro tournament, hosted at Centro de Tenis de Faro.
The 28-year-old German, who played college tennis for Pepperdine University, cruised past French No. 7 seed Evan Furness in the stage of the last four in two sets.
The tournament’s No. 8 Tiago Cacao from Portugal took the last step to final with a straight-set win against Spanish No. 4 seed Ricardo Ojeda Lara.
No. 6 seeded Fanselow won 79 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to seal a 6-3, 6-3 win after one hour and 33 minutes. The Saarlouis native celebrated his ninth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Heraklion GRE – Filip Cristian Jianu triumphs in Crete
The M15 Heraklion tournament, held at Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy, concluded with the championship of Filip Cristian Jianu from Romania.
The Bucharest-born, who was ranked No. 5 as a junior last seaseon, eased past Alexander Lebedev from the United States in the semi-finals in two sets.
Twenty-three-year-old Lucas Catarina from Monaco, who entered the main draw of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2019 by wild card, battled through the top half of the draw by defeating Montenegrin lefty Ljubomir Celebic in straight sets.
Lasting two hours and 45 minutes, 18-year-old Jianu outpointed his No. 4 seeded rival in the title match by the score of 107-103 to prevail 7-5, 3-6, 6-3. Following his two championships last season, the No. 2 seed lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Luca Nardi captures his maiden title
Luca Nardi clinched the trophy of the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, hosted at Soho Square.
The 16-year-old Italian rallied down Chien Hsun Lo from Chinese Taipei in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Czech veteran Jaroslav Pospisil, who was ranked World No. 103 in 2011, booked the spot in the final with a straight-set win versus Kelsey Stevenson from Canada.
Unseeded Nardi made six points less than his 39-year-old rival in the championship match of the generations, but secured a 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 victory after two hours and 50 minutes. The junior entrant celebrated his first title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

Patrick Kypson is the champion of the Club Megasaray Series 3, held at Club Megasaray in Belek.
The unseeded US-American, who earned a wild card for the main draw of the 2017 US Open by winning the national US-junior championships, battled past Czech No. 3 seed Michael Vrbensky in the semi-finals in three sets.
Peter Heller, who was ranked ITF No. 1 last season, emerged victorious from the all-German semi-final battle against Peter Torebko in three sets.
Twenty-year-old Kypson converted six of his 10 break-point opportunities and lost three service games in the title match, to claim a 6-4, 6-2 win after one hour and 29 minutes. Baptiste Crepatte triumphed at the Magic Tours tournament, hosted at Magic Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The top seed benefited from the retirement of the tournament’s No. 3 Calvin Hemery at the score of 5-0 in the all-French semi-final clash.
No. 6 seeded Jonathan Eysseric from France stopped the run of Swiss Junior entrant Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, who was ranked No. 7 in the ITF Juniors Ranking earlier this season, in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Capitalizing on all of his two break-point chances in the championship match against the former No. 1 in ITF Juniors, 25-year-old Crepatte prevailed after one hour and 39 minutes by the score of 7-6, 6-4.
