Qualifier Henrik Wiersholm from the University of Virginia claimed his first ITF Future title, winning the final of the US-$ 10,000 Pro Circuit outdoor clay event in Pensacola against fellow US-American Alex Rybakov 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 on Sunday.
The only 18-year-old San Francisco native won 60% of his first service points and converted five of his 14 break point chances to seal victory in one hour and 52 minutes.
On Saturday, Hungarian Peter Nagy and Canadian Denis Shapovalov captured the doubles title, winning 6-3, 6-2 against wild cards Christopher Ephron and Bruno Savi in only 52 minutes.
