With the WTA Tour suspended through July due to the continuing coronavirus outbreak, tennis professionals are getting creative and staying engaged online while social distancing.

#MondayMotivation 👟 This is one of my #hometraining sessions, it’s actually really fun to do and you don’t need much equipment. There are 12 exercises – you can choose whichever you like – could be squats, abs, push-ups.. you can try doing the ones I did or maybe do them a bit differently. Perform each of these exercises for 30sec than 30sec rest. After doing 6 exercises this way(30-30) you rest for 1 min and than do the other 6 (30-30). You repeat these 12 exercises 3 times alltogether- that means 3 cycles. Between circles you can take 1min break or even a bit longer(to drink..) It takes about 45 min and it’s perfect to keep your body in shape during this time. Also the app Tabata is perfect for this. This is a training that my physical coach @mirankotnik made for me. He also does other online programms so if anyone’s interested just check his page and write to his dm. If you try this workout don’t forget to tag me and let me know how it’s been! 🙌 . . . #trainathome #hometeam #workoutathome #training #hometraining #kajajuvan

“I do not count the days until the eventual start of the season. That would be too sad. But, anyway, I think this is a great opportunity to work on your fitness work and that’s a good thing,” the 19-year-old told the Slovenian Tennis Association in an interview and also demonstrated her musical skills via social media.

“I know we are in a difficult position right now,” Juvan said in a video message on Facebook on March 25. “Now is the time to maybe seek a new hobby or maybe re-new an old one. That’s what I am doing. I haven’t played the piano in a while but I practiced yesterday and I will show you now. I hope you enjoy this.”

Juvan is currently ranked World No. 121. She reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 106 in August last season and peaked at No. 1010 in the doubles rankings.

Juvan was a strong junior having achieved a career-high girls’ ranking of No. 5 in January 2017. The Ljubljana native claimed the doubles title at 2017 Wimbledon and reached the Finals of the 2017 ITF Junior Masters. Juvan also lifted the trophy of the Orange Bowl in 2016 and has represented her country in the Fed Cup, where she has a win/loss record of 4–7.

At senior’s level, Juvan clinched seven titles on the ITF Pro Circuit and battled through the qualifying of the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. The teenager continued her good run of form at the All England Lawn Tennis Club by reaching the second round of the main draw, where she lost a three-set match to US-American Serena Williams.
