The 2020 Levene Gouldin & Thompson (LG&T) Tennis Challenger has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. The 27th edition of the hard-court event was scheduled to take place in July at Recreation Park in Binghamton, NY.

The tournament announced its decision on Friday evening via social media.

Last year, Yuichi Sugita clinched his 10th career Challenger title at Binghamton. The Japanese, currently ranked World No. 87, defeated Joao Menezes of Brazil in the singles final in three sets after almost three hours of play.

Max Purcell and Luke Saville secured the doubles title. The top seeds from Australia fought past JC Aragone and Alex Lawson from the United States in the championship match.
