The organizers of the Erste Bank Open 500 in Vienna have already started with the preparations for the 2016 edition. The event is going to take place from 22 to 30 October.

“In the course of the ATP World Tour Finals in London we held some constructive talks with some of the players. It is still too early in order to announce commitments for 2016 but we are on a good way to present an even more attractive entry list next year,” told tournament direcotr Herwig Straka.

David Ferrer captured the title in 2015 beating Steve Johnson in the US-American’s very first ATP final. 53,800 spectators attended the matches and ensured a great atmosphere inside the Stadthalle, which was sold out on several days.

Advance sale of tickets for next year will start on 9 December. Tickets can be bought online.
