Prague Open Challenger: Vesely Leads Entry List

The entry list for the I.CLTK Prague Open 2020 by Moneta Money Bank was released on Wednesday. The € 137,560 clay-court tournament will be held at the I. Cesky Lawn-Tennis Klub Praha on Štvanice island, situated on the Vltava river between the Prague districts of Holešovice and Karlín, from August 15 to 22.

Alongside the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi in Italy, it will mark the re-start of the ATP Challenger Tour that week.

World No. 65 Jiri Vesely leads the entry list and is joined by five other top 100 players: Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert (World No. 71), Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany (No. 74), Attila Balazs (No. 76) and Marton Fucsovics (No. 84) from Hungary, as well as Dominik Koepfer from Germany (No. 92).

Emil Ruusovori from Finland, Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero, Damir Dzumhur from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jozef Kovalik of Slovakia, German Peter Gojowczyk and Sumit Nagal from India are also part of the line-up.

The tournament will feature a 48-man-draw including five wild card entries and two qualifiers. The singles champion will earn €18,290 in prize money as well as 125 ATP Ranking points. Sixteen doubles teams will be in action. The winners will split €7,870 in prize money.
