Defending champion Dominic Thiem leads the entry list into the 2020 Generali Open, held at the Kitzbühel Tennis Club from September 8 to 13. The World No. 3 ended the home crowd’s 26-year wait for a first Austrian champion since 1993 winner Thomas Muster with a triumph over Spaniard Albert Ramos Vinolas in the 2019 final.
Thiem will be joined by fellow top 10 players Alexander Zverev from Germany and Italy’s Matteo Berrettini. Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain, Russia’s Andrey Rublev, Fabio Fognini of Italy and Diego Schwartzman from Argentina will also be part of the line-up.

The tournament, which is scheduled to take place during the second week of the US Open, will feature a 28-man-draw including five wild card entries and six qualifiers. The singles champion will earn €24,880 in prize money as well as 250 ATP Ranking points. Sixteen doubles teams will be in action. The winners will split €8,840 in prize money.
