Colombians Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah lead the doubles entry list of the 2020 Hamburg European Open to be held at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center from September 19 to 27.
The top-two ranked players in the ATP doubles rankings, who captured the title at last year’s US Open, will be joined by 2020 Australian Open winners Rajeev Ram from the United States and Briton Joe Salisbury.

Reigning Roland Garros champions Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies will also come to Hamburg. The Germans cannot wait to compete in the ATP 500 clay-court event.
“When we learnt that Hamburg was still taking place at this special time, we were very happy. Since we were spectators at the Rothenbaum as children, we have been dreaming of playing on this beautiful Center Court and winning the title,” Mies said.
“This time is also the ideal preparation for Roland Garros, where we of course have very special memories of last year,” Krawietz added: “I will compete in Hamburg for the seventh or eighth year. Cool city, cool people, and we’re really looking forward to it.”
Krawietz and Mies will return to the prestigious tournament for the second consecutive year. In 2019, the pair made it into the quarterfinals but lost to Pablo Cuevas from Uruguay and Nicolas Jarry of Chile in three sets.
