ANTALYA, December 27, 2015
Christopher Heyman is the last champion on the ITF Future Circuit 2015. The 22-year-old Belgian captured his second title of the season, winning the final of the US-$10,000 GD Tennis Futures in Antalya, the series’ 52nd event of the year taking place on Turkish soil.
Heyman defeated Italian Adelchi Virgili 6-4, 6-4 on Sunday. The tournament’s sixth seed capitalized on two of his nine break point chances to seal victory in one hour and 35 minutes.
Tuna Altuna and Cem Ilkel emerged victorious from the all-Turkish-doubles-final through a 4-6, 6-2, 10-6 win over Sarp Agabigun and Altug Celikbilek.
The 2016 Pro Tennis Circuit will start again on 2 January with the qualifying of the US-$25,000 event in Los Angeles as well as the US-$10,000 Babolat Futures in Antalya.
