M15 Monastir TUN – Omar Giacalone ends title drought
Omar Giacalone clinched the trophy of the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by the Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 28-year-old Italian battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating Moez Echargui from Tunisia in the semi-finals in three sets.
Austrian No. 6 seed Alexander Erler knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Skander Mansouri from Tunisia in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
Unseeded Giacalone converted six of his 14 break-point chances in the championship match to claim a 6-3, 7-5 victory after one hour and 39 minutes. The Mazara del Vallo native celebrated his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, following his three title wins in 2014 and 2015.
After their title win at the same place last week, Alexander Erler and David Pichler lifted another doubles trophy. The Austrian duo edged past Skander Mansouri with his French partner Dan Added in the title match 7-6, 6-3 to win their fifth team title in 2020.

M15 Antalya TUR – Vladyslav Orlov prevails
Vladyslav Orlov is the champion of the M15 Antalya tournament, held at the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 25-year-old eased past No. 5 seeded Nerman Fatic from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-finals in three sets.
Georgii Kravchenko set the all-Ukrainian title match by defeating Russian No. 3 seed Ivan Nedelko in straight sets.
Kharkiv-born Orlov won 81 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to secure a 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 win after two hours and 24 minutes. The No. 4 seed lifted his fourth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
