A member of the last four finalist teams and the top four seeds in the singles field headline the doubles entries for the season-opening Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com that will take place January 4-13.
The 2019 runner-up duo of Ken Skupski and his younger brother, Neal, will return to play Delray Beach together for a second time. The British brothers own a pair of ATP titles from eight finals.
Last year’s finalist, Luke Bambridge, the winner of three career titles, will pair with Dominic Inglot, who owns 14 career titles.
Two other recent finalists will partner with singles players who have had recent success at the Delray Beach ATP stop. Four-time ATP title winner Nicholas Monroe, who reached the 2018 final, will partner with Frances Tiafoe, who was the singles champion that year.
Projected singles top seed, Milos Raonic, the 2017 runner-up and 2020 semifinalist, will partner with 2017 doubles runner-up and eight-time title winner Treat Huey.
Two other top singles seeds will play doubles, with projected second seed Cristian Garin teaming up with Andre Goransson and projected third seed, John Isner, a four-time Delray Beach singles semifinalist who owns five career doubles titles, playing alongside projected fourth seed Hubert Hurkacz.
Former Delray Beach Open singles winner Sam Querrey, who owns five career doubles titles, will team with fellow American and four-time title winner Austin Krajicek.
The doubles field also includes a number of players in addition to Inglot who have a double-digit tally of ATP titles, led by Jean-Julien Rojer and his 29 titles playing with Marcelo Arevalo. Santiago Gonzalez, winner of 13 titles, will team up with Marcelo Demoliner and 11-time champion Philipp Oswald will play with Marcus Daniell.

The previously mentioned singles players are part of a field that also includes former World No. 1 and three-time Major champion Andy Murray as well as Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com defending champion Reilly Opelka.
Murray will make his Delray Beach debut during Session 8, which will take place Friday night, Jan. 8. Additional headline matches have also been announced, including Opelka beginning his title defense on Thursday night, Jan. 7. Isner will headline the Saturday night session on Jan. 9, while Raonic will play on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 10.
Former Delray Beach Open champion Kei Nishikori and former finalist Daniel Evans, who were among the initial singles entrants, have both withdrawn from the tournament for personal reasons.
Six-time doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan will return to the Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com but not to defend their title. The twins announced their retirement last summer and will be making their ATP Champions Tour debut. They will captain a team that will take on another set of doubles playing bothers, Luke and Murphy Jensen, during the Jan. 4-6 tournament. The Bryans are scheduled to play the Jensens during the afternoon on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
Originally scheduled for February, the 2021 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com will feature ATP Champions Tour matches running concurrently with ATP 250 qualifying matches on Jan. 5-6. The main draw for the ATP 250 tournament, which will feature 28 players in singles and 16 teams in doubles, will begin Thursday, Jan. 7 with two sessions each day until the finals are contested during a single session on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

In order to accommodate spacious conditions in the stadium and throughout the venue, attendance for each session at the 2021 tournament will be capped at 2,000 people, just under 25 percent of the outdoor stadium’s total capacity.

Last year, Delray Beach resident Opelka served a tournament record 99 aces during the week in which he won his second career ATP Tour title. In doubles the Bryans captured their sixth Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com title and their 119th as a team. It was the final tournament for the twin brothers who announced their retirement in August. In the opening weekend’s ATP Champions Tour matches, Team Europe, led by Tommy Haas and David Ferrer, earned a 5-2 win over the James Blake-led Team World. This marked the third straight defeat for the home nation in ATP Champions Tour competition at Delray Beach.
