M15 St. Petersburg RUS – Alibek Kachmazov wins maiden title
The Grand Palace Cup by Formula TX concluded with Alibek Kachmazov winning the title. The tournament was hosted by the Formula Tennisa in Lakhta, a historical area of St. Petersburg situated on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.
The teenager emerged victorious from the all-Russian semifinal-encounter against No. 2 seed Konstantin Kravchuk in straight sets.
No. 4 seeded Russian Alexey Zakharov knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Jan Choinski, who is represents Great Britain, in the stage of the final four in two sets.
Wladikawkas-born Kachmazov outpointed his compatriot in the championship match 119-114 to secure a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 victory after three hours and 22 minutes. The 18-year-old celebrated his maiden title win on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Villena ESP – Gastao Elias prevails in the Province of Alicante
Gastao Elias won the title of the ITF Men’s Villena, held at the JC Ferrero Equelite Sport Academy.
The Portuguese veteran defeated No. 4 seeded Jenson Brooksby from the United States in the stage of the last four in two clear sets.
Current junior’s World No. 1 Holger Rune from Denmark stopped the run of US-American wild card entry Emilio Nava in the semi-finals in three sets.
Thirty-year-old Elias converted five of his 11 break-point chances in the title match and lost two service games to prevail 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 in about two hours. The Lourinha native, who reached World No. 57 as a career high in 2016, lifted his sixth singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his seven title wins on the ATP Challenger Tour.

M15 Nur-Sultan KAZ – Otto Virtanen wins another title on hard court
Otto Virtanen took the title of the Nur-Sultan ITF International Tournament 1 hosted by the Daulet National Tennis Centre.
The 19-year-old Finn advanced to the final with a three-set win versus Michal Dembek from Poland.
Mats Rosenkranz from Germany, who practices at the Tennis Academy Moraing in Essen, booked the spot in the final by defeating Aleksandre Metreveli from Georgia in three sets.
Hyvinkää-born Virtanen fired 10 aces in the championship match and won 88 per cent of his first-service points to claim a 7-5, 6-3 win in 63 minutes. The Helsinki resident, who was ranked World No. 6 as a junior and clinched the Under-18 title of the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships 2018, celebrated his second hard-court trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Monastir TUN – Stuart Parker captures his maiden title
The Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir, concluded with the title win of Stuart Parker.
The 23-year-old from Jersey, part of the Channel Islands, stopped the run of Tunisian qualifier Moez Echargui in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Belgian No. 6 seed Yannick Mertens battled through the top half of the draw, beating Tom Kocevar-Desman from Slovenia in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Unseeded Parker won four points more in the title match to prevail 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 after two hours and eight minutes. The Port Elizabeth-born, who is based at the Tennis Academy of the International Bilingual School of Provence to work with former World No. 4 Thomas Enqvist, lifted his first trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Antalya TUR – Nuno Borges dominates in Belek
Twenty-three-year-old Nuno Borges from Portugal triumphed at the Artengo Open Series 4, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek, without losing a set the entire week.
The former college-player for the Mississippi State University battled past Italian Jacopo Berrettini, the younger brother of Matteo Berrettini, in the stage of the last four in two sets.
Milan Zekic emerged victorious from the all-Serbian semifinal-encounter against the current No. 9 in ITF Junior’s ranking, Hamad Medjedovic, in straight sets.
In the title match, No. 7 seeded Borges benefited from the retirement of the Serbian veteran at the score of 6-4, 3-3, to celebrate his 10th career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Yu Hsiou Hsu caps dream run
Yu Hsiou Hsu is the champion of the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, held at Soho Square.
The 21-year-old qualifier from Chinese Taipei made the last step to the final by defeating Marek Gengel from the Czech Republic in straight sets.
Belgian qualifier Arnaud Bovy eased past No. 6 seeded Facundo Diaz Acosta from Argentina in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Changhua-born Hsu won 83 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to seal a 6-4, 6-4 victory after one hour and 37 minutes. The former junior’s World No. 5, who clinched three doubles trophies at junior Grand-Slam events in 2017, celebrated his third singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
