POTCHEFSTROOM, February 13, 2021 (TSA Press Release)
Benjamin Bonzi maintained his quest for a first ATP Challenger title as he breezed past US-American qualifier Nick Chappell to reach the final of the Potch Open at the North-West University in Potchefstroom on Saturday.
Bonzi, who dropped just one set en route to the semifinal, cruised to a comfortable 6-1, 6-2 victory and the French second seed will now face Liam Broady in the final after the French qualifier beat sixth seed Cem Ilkel of Turkey.
Broady meanwhile also enjoyed a relatively trouble-free match as the Turkish marched to a 7-6(3), 6-4 win to book his place in the final of the ATP Challenger 80 event.
Second seeds Marc-Andrea Huesler of Switzerland and Zdenek Kolar of Czech Republic claimed the men’s doubles title after a 6-4, 2-6, 10-4 over unseeded Canadians Peter Polansky and Brayden Schnur in the doubles final.

Parrizas-Dias to face Bondar in Ilana Kloss International final
In the women’s event, Anna Bondar of Hungary secured her place in the final of the ITF World Tennis Tour W25 event following her surprise win over top seed Lesley Kerkhove.
The unseeded Hungarian took the first set but Kerkhove displayed her fighting quality to take the second and set up a tense finale, but Bondar eventually claimed a 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 victory in two hours and 43 minutes.
Bondar will face Spanish sixth seed Nuria Parrizas-Dias for a title decider. Parrizas-Dias edged out Jodie Burrage of Britain in straights sets 7-5, 7-5.
Just hours after losing her singles semifinal match, Kerkhove won the women’s title in doubles.
Kerkhove and Bibiane Schoofs, seeded number 1, won the women’s doubles by beating British second seeds Naomi Broady and Eden Silva 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 to claim Ilana Kloss International doubles title.
