M25 Vale do Lobo POR – Evan Furness triumphs in Portugal
The M25 Vale do Lobo Open, held at Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy, concluded with the title win of Frenchman Evan Furness.
The 22-year-old emerged victorious from the all-French semifinal-encounter against his No. 4 seeded compatriot Antoine Escoffier in three sets.
No. 7 seed and local hero Gastao Elias took the last step to the final by defeating Lucas Poullain from France in three sets.

In the title match, No. 2 seeded Poullain outpointed the former No. 57 in ATP rankings 73-65 to prevail 6-2, 6-4 after one hour and 51 minutes. Following his title win on home soil in Grenoble two weeks ago, the former college player for the Florida State University lifted his eighth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
After the match, Furness said: “I like the conditions in the club and the nice weather. Against Gastao, you have to work for every point, because he is almost doing no errors. I have to win more titles to do the transition to the ATP Challenger Tour. My goal for the season is to go for the Top200, to reach the qualifying events for the Grand Slams.”
M25 Naples USA – Christian Harrison returns to winners’ circle
Christian Harrison from the United States is the champion of the ASC $25,000 Men’s World Tennis Tour, hosted by the Academia Sanchez-Casal in Florida.
The younger brother of former ATP No. 40 Ryan Harrison edged out Cristian Rodriguez from Colombia in the stage of the final four in three sets.
No. 6 seeded Frenchman Corentin Denolly advanced to the final with a straight-set victory against Gonzalo Villanueva from Argentina.
Twenty-six-year-old Harrison capitalized on four of his nine break-point opportunities by dropping one service game in the title match to seal a 6-4, 6-2 win in 75 minutes. The No. 8 seed from Shreveport,Louisiana celebrated his fifth singles title on the ITF World Tennis tour, his first since 2017.
M15 Monastir TUN – Stuart Parker wins second title in 2021
The Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir, concluded with the title win of British qualifier Stuart Parker, who is based at the Tennis Academy of the International Bilingual School of Provence to work with former World No. 4 Thomas Enqvist.
The 23-year-old from Jersey, Channel Islands, eased past French junior entry Lilian Marmousez in the stage of the last four in straight sets.
French No. 7 seed Alexis Gautier battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating Oliver Crawford from the United States in the semi-finals in straight sets.
Parker won seven points more in the championship match to prevail 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 after two hours and 36 minutes. Following his maiden title at the same place three weeks ago, the Port Elizabeth native lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Antalya TUR – Raul Brancaccio captures another title on clay
Clay-court specialist Raul Brancaccio emerged victorious at the Artengo Open Series 7, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 23-year-old Italian rallied past Matias Zukas from Argentina in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Oleksii Krutykh from the Ukraine benefited in the semi-finals from the retirement of Argentinian Facundo Juarez in the third set.
Torre el Grecco-born Brancaccio converted three of his eight break-point chances in the title match by losing one service game to claim a 6-4, 6-4 win after one hour and 42 minutes. The No. 3 seed celebrated his sixth title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them on clay.
M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Paul Jubb prevails in Egypt
Paul Jubb from Great Britain clinched the trophy of the M15 Sharm El Sheikh tournament, which was held at Soho Square.
The 21-year-old made the last step to the final by defeating the tournament’s third favourite Rio Nogushi from Japan in the semi-finals in straight sets.
No. 4 seeded Martin Podzus from Latvia stopped the run of German wild card entry Robert Strombachs in the semi-finals in two sets.
Unseeded Jubb outpointed his 26-year-old rival in the championship match 80-76 to secure a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 victory after one hour and 40 minutes. The York native, who played college tennis for the University of South Carolina and clinched the title of the NCAA Divison Tennis Championships 2019, lifted his third singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
