ITF Press Release, March 4, 2021

The ITF has today announced the draws for the four Davis Cup by Rakuten World Group I and World Group II ties taking place on 5-6 March. The remaining 20 ties at this level of the competition are scheduled for September this year.

The first two singles matches of each tie will take place on Friday 5 March, with the doubles and reverse singles matches to be contested on Saturday 6 March. Nominations for the doubles and reverse singles matches are subject to change.

The eight highest-ranked winners of the World Group I ties will automatically progress to the 2022 Davis Cup by Rakuten Qualifiers. The four lowest-ranked winners will take part in an additional knock-out tie in November, with the two winners progressing to the 2022 Qualifiers and the two losers contesting the 2022 World Group I Play-offs. The 12 nations that lose in World Group I will also contest the 2022 World Group I Play-offs.
