Unseeded players Oscar Otte and Tallon Griekspoor will compete in Sunday’s singles final of the I.CLTK PRAGUE OPEN 2021 BY MONETA MONEYBANK, a €44,820 clay-court tournament held at the I. Cesky Lawn-Tennis Klub Praha in the capital city of the Czech Republic.
Griekspoor knocked out World No. 89 and top seed Norbert Gombos of Slovakia 7-6(5), 6-3. The 24-year-old from the Netherlands capitalized on three of his four break-point chances to secure victory in one hour and 48 minutes.
Earlier in the day, Otte stopped the fine run of 21-year-old Czech wild card entry Michael Vrbensky, winning 6-3, 6-3. The 27-year-old German sent down three aces and won 83 per cent of his first-service points to advance after one hour and 25 minutes.
Both players are seeking their third Challenger career title. Otte celebrated his last triumph in Aix-en-Provence, France last year. Griekspoor lifted his last trophy at the 2019 Srspka Open in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Otte won all of the three previous meetings with the Dutch.

Polmans/Stakhovsky capture back-to-back titles in the Czech Republic
In other action, Marc Polmans of Australia and Sergiy Stakhovsky from the Ukraine took the doubles title. The duo defeated No. 3 seeds Ivan and Matej Sabanov from Croatia 6-3, 6-4 in the final. The encounter lasted 69 minutes.
Polmans and Stakhovsky won their second consecutive team title following their triumph at Ostrava last week. The champions split €2,670 in prize money and earn 80 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
