Roger Federer headlines a loaded field at the NOVENTI OPEN, where he hopes to capture a record-extending 11th Halle title.
The Swiss superstar, who could face last week’s MercedesCup finalist Felix Auger-Aliassime in the second round, features in World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev’s quarter of the draw. Federer is hoping to extend his 68-7 match record at the ATP 500 event.
Two-time former Halle finalist Alexander Zverev, also in the top half of the draw, is bidding to become the first German titlist at this event since Florian Mayer in 2016.
Roland Garros runner-up Stefanos Tsitsipas, who is this year’s ATP Tour match-wins leader, makes his first appearance in Halle since 2018, and leads the bottom half alongside Andrey Rublev, 2019 finalist David Goffin and Gael Monfils.

Berrettini top seed at The Queen’s Club
Five-time former champion Andy Murray returns to the singles court for the first time since March at the cinch Championships in London. The 34-year-old has won the 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016 editions at The Queen’s Club and compiled a 30-8 match record since making his tournament debut in 2005.
He won’t be the only former champion in the mix, with Marin Cilic and defending champion Feliciano Lopez back in action. Top seed Matteo Berrettini will lead the way in London as he makes his tournament debut, and could face Murray in the second round.
They will be joined by #NextGenATP star Jannik Sinner, while Aslan Karatsev will hit the lawns for his first tour-level grass-court event. Lorenzo Sonego and Fabio Fognini also feature at the ATP 500 event.
