M15 Gaiba ITA – Mats Rosenkranz triumphs on grass
The Internazionali D’Italia Su Erba concluded with the title win of Mats Rosenkranz from Germany. The first edition of the grass event was hosted by the Tennis Club Gaiba, situated in the province Rovigo in Venetia.
Essen-born Rosenkranz made it through the top half of the draw, beating Russian wild card entry Kirill Kivattsev in the semi-finals in straight sets.
No. 5 seed Benjamin Lock from Zimbabwe edged out Antoine Bellier from Switzerland in the stage of the final four in three sets.
In the title match without any breaks, left-handed Rosenkranz sent down 20 aces and won 86 per cent of his first-service points to seal a 7-6(11), 7-6(5) victory after two hours and 30 minutes. Following his maiden championship on home soil in Wetzlar 2019, the 22-year-old celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

Rosenkranz, who is based at the Tennis Academy Moraing in Mülheim an der Ruhr, told Tennis TourTalk: “It was a very close match in the final with the first set lasting about 90 minutes and the second set about 60 minutes. We both served well and played good volleys, so the match could have gone in both directions.”
Asked about his experiences on grass, he said: “It was the first time that I set a foot on a grass court. I arrived the day before the tournament to do my first practice session on this surface, so I am really happy to clinch the title of this very fine organized tournament. It was a pleasure to compete in front of a lot of spectators at the final weekend”.
M25 Wichita USA – Govind Nanda victorious again on home soil
Govind Nanda clinched the trophy of the Wichita Tennis Open, held at Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex at the venue of the Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.
The 20-year-old Californian cruised past Japanese No. 5 seed Sho Shimabukuro in the semi-finals in two sets.
Patrick Kypson set the all-US-American final with a straight-set win against his No. 6 seeded countryman Felix Corwin.
Loma Linda-born Nanda won 86 per cent of his first-service points in the championship match to advance 7-6, 6-2 after two hours and nine minutes. The former college player for the University of California at Los Angeles lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his two title wins on US-American hard-courts in 2019.

M25 Santo Domingo DOM – Nicolas Kicker prevails on hard court
The M25 Santo Domingo tournament, hosted by the Centro Nacional de Tenis Parque del Este, concluded with the triumph of 28-year-old Nicolas Kicker.
The former World No. 78, who was banned from professional tennis for two years and eight months due to match-fixing offences, battled past wild card entry Peter Bertran from the Dominican Republic in the semi-finals in straight sets
Igor Marcondes from Brazil took the last step to the final by defeating Mexican qualifier Juan Alejandro Hernandez Serrano in three sets.
Unseeded Kicker converted two of his eight break-point chances in the title match without losing a service game to secure a 6-7, 6-1, 7-6 win after more than three hours. Following 15 trophies on clay, the Merlo native celebrated his 16th career title on the Pro Circuit including three Challenger titles.
M15 Monastir TUN – Guy Orly Iradukunda wins maiden title
Guy Orly Iradukunda took the title of the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at the Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 25-year-old from Burundi booked the spot in the final with a three-set win versus Australian Jeremy Beale.
Argentinian No. 4 seed Santiago Fa Rodriguez Taverna eased past junior entry Eliakim Coulibaly from the Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-finals in three sets.
Gitega-born Iradukunda outpointed his 21-year-old rival in the championship match 112-100 to succeed 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 in two hours and 29 minutes. The former college player for the Seminole State College in Florida celebrated his first singles title on the Pro Circuit.

M15 Skopje MKD – Top seed Milan Zekic wins in Northern Macedonia
Serbian veteran Milan Zekic is the champion of the Skopje Open 2021, hosted by the Tennis Klub Jug-Skopje.
The Belgrade native beat Simone Roncalli from Italy in the semi-finals in two sets.
Bulgarian No. 8 seed Alexander Lazarov, who represented his country at the first edition of the ATP Cup, advanced to the final with a straight-set win against French No. 7 seed Alexis Gautier.
Thirty-two-year-old Zekic won fabulous 97 per cent of his first-service points and gained the only break in the title match to claim a 6-4, 7-6 victory after one hour and 50 minutes. The top seed lifted his 21st singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his ATP Challenger title in Todi 2016.

M15 Heraklion GRE – Yuki Mochizuki successful in Crete
Yuki Mochizuki of Japan claimed the trophy of the M15 Heraklion tournament, held at Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy.
The 23-year-old from Osaka battled through the bottom half of the draw, defeating Billy Harris from Great Britain in the semi-finals in three sets.
Last week’s Heraklion champion Ben Patael, the Israeli No. 5 seed, edged out Frenchman Alexis Musialek in the stage of the last four in two clear sets.
Unseeded Mochizuki broke his opponent in the championship match six times and lost three service games to prevail 7-5, 6-2 after one hour and 40 minutes. The Japanese celebrated his fourth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Antalya TUR – Gonzalo Lama captures third title of the season
Clay-court specialist Gonzalo Lama emerged victorious at the M15 Antalya tournament, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 28-year-old Chilean stopped the run of Swiss qualifier Damien Wenger in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Argentinian qualifier Francisco Comesana took the last step to the final by beating Czech junior entry Martin Krumich in three sets.
No. 8 seed Lama won 77 per cent of his first-service points in the title match to seal a 6-4, 6-2 victory after one hour and 53 minutes. The former World No. 160 lifted his 11th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his two ATP Challenger titles. The Santiago de Chile native won all of his titles on clay.
