M15 Weston USA – No champion crowned in Florida
The Midtown Weston Men’s 15K, hosted by the Midtown Athletic Club, had to be interrupted during the final due to bad weather.
In the semi-finals, Canadian qualifier Liam Draxl continued his great run by beating Argentinian No. 6 seed Gonzalo Villanueva in three sets. Nineteen-year-old Drexl was ranked World No. 9 as a junior.
Stefan Kozlov emerged victorious from the all-US American semi-final-clash with former World No. 40 Ryan Harrison in three sets. No. 5 seed Kozlov reached position 115 as a career high in 2017.
After two intense sets lasting more than three hours, the title match had to be canceled after the end of the second set. Twenty-three-year-old Kozlov, who was ranked No. 2 as a junior and clinched the trophy of the Metropolia Orange Bowl International Championship 2014, remains at six title wins on the Pro Circuit while teenager Draxl is still seeking his maiden trophy.
M25 The Hague NED – Javier Barranco Cosano adds another title on clay
Clay-court specialist Javier Barranco Cosano clinched the trophy of the ITF World Tennis The Hague 2021, held at the Sportcentrum de Rhijenhof.
The 22-year-old Spaniard made the last step to the final by defeating Johan Nikles from Switzerland in straight sets.
No. 6 seed Jelle Sels, who triumphed on home soil in Alkmaar last week, fought past No. 3 seeded fellow Dutch Tim van Rijthoven in the semi-finals in three sets.
Left-handed Barranco Cosano converted five of his 11 break-point chances and dropped two service games in the championship match to earn a 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 win after one hour and 54 minutes. The No. 5 seed, who has won at least one title per season since 2017, celebrated his ninth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour. The Almeria native won all of them on clay.
M25 Bakio ESP – Huge Grenier dominates in Spain
Hugo Grenier captured the trophy of the 36° Open Kiroleta Bakio Udala Saria, hosted by the Club Kiroleta, without losing a set the entire week.
In the semi-finals with the top four favourites in action, the French No. 2 seed cruised past US-American No. 3 seed Christian Harrison in straight sets.
Spanish veteran Adrian Menendez-Maceiras, who entered the tournament on position four, knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Hiroki Moriya in the stage of the final four in three sets.
Montbrison-born Grenier won 85 per cent of his first-service points and sent down six aces in the title match to triumph 6-0, 6-1 in 54 minutes. The 25-year-old, who is coached by former tennis professional Jean-Rene Lisnard, lifted his sixth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M25 Bourg-En-Bresse FRA – Viktor Durasovic triumphs in Rhone-Alpes
Viktor Durasovic took the title of the Grand Prix de Tennis de Bourg-En-Bresse Open de l’Ain, held at the Tennis Club de Bourg.
The 24-year-old Norwegian with Serbian roots battled past former junior World No. 10 Clement Tabur from France in the semi-finals in straight sets.
In-form Franco Agamenone from Italy, who clinched the title in Montabaun last week, booked another spot in the final with a three-set win against French No. 7 seed Matteo Martineau.
No. 6 seeded Durasovic broke his rival’s serve in the championship match six times and dropped one service game to secure a 6-1, 6-1 victory in 55 minutes. The Trondheim native celebrated his sixth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M25 Belgrade SRB – Nick Hardt clinches third title of the season
Nick Hardt from the Dominican Republic is the champion of the Player Zone Tennis Academy Open 2021 in Belgrade.
The No. 8 seed edged out Alexander Lazarov from Bulgaria in the stage of the last four in two sets.
Israeli qualifier Daniel Cukierman benefited in the semi-finals from the retirement of Australian No. 2 seed Akira Santillan in the second set.
Santiago de los Caballeros-born Hardt capitalized on six of his eight break-point opportunities and lost four service games in the title match to prevail 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 after two hours and 33 minutes. The 20-year-old lifted his sixth career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, his third in 2021.

M25 Wroclaw POL – Hernan Casanova captures another title on clay
The Wroclaw World Cup 2021, hosted by the Olimpijski Club Tennis and Sports, concluded with the title win of clay-court specialist Hernan Casanova.
The Argentinian No. 4 seed advanced to the final following a three-set victory against No. 6 seeded Uladzimir Ignatik from Belarus.
The tournament’s top favourite Orlando Luz, who was ranked World No. 1 as a junior, won the all-Brazilian semifinal-encounter versus Oscar Jose Gutierrez in straight sets.
Twenty-seven-year-old Casanova converted five of his seven break-point chances in the championship match to seal a 6-1, 6-3 victory in 82 minutes. The Buenos Aires native celebrated his 19th on clay-court title win on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
M15 Monastir TUN – Seong-Chan Hong wins second title of the season
Seong-Chan Hong was victorious at the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, held at the Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.
The 24-year-old Korean eased past Moez Echargui from Tunsia in the stage of the final four in straight sets.
Italian Luca Giacomini battled through the bottom half of the draw, beating last week’s Monastir champion Omni Kumar from the United States in the semi-finals in two sets.
No. 4 seeded Hong fired nine aces in the title match and broke his opponent four times to succeed 7-5, 6-3 after two hours and 13 minutes. The former junior’s World No. 2, who captured the title of the ITF Junior Masters 2016 in Chengdu, lifted his 12th singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his second of the season.
M15 Antalya TUR – Patrik Rikl prevails in Turkey
Patrik Rikl from the Czech Republic clinched the trophy of the M15 Antalya tournament, hosted by the Club Megasaray in Belek.
The son of former tennis professional David Rikl took the last step to the final with a straight-set win versus Francisco Comesana from Argentina.
Nicolae Frunza from Romania rallied past Spanish No. 4 seed Carlos Sanchez Jover in the semi-finals in three sets.
Twenty-two-year-old Rikl outpointed his left-handed rival in the championship match 94-80 to claim a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory after two hours and 30 minutes. The Florida native, who lives in Prague, celebrated his fifth career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
