Czech teenager Jiri Lehecka captured his maiden Challenger crown by winning the 39th edition of the Tampere Open, the longest-running tournament on the ATP Challenger Tour hosted by Tampereen Tenniskeskus.
The 19-year-old rallied past Argentine qualifier Nicolas Kicker 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final.

Lehecka advanced to the championship match of the €44,820 clay-court event with wins over No. 3 seed Antoine Hoang of France, Nicolas Jarry from Chile, local wild card entry Otto Virtanen and French lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet.
The World No. 254, a winner of three ITF Pro Circuit tournaments, sent down four aces in the title match and won 71 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after two hours and 31 minutes.
Lehecka took away from Finland €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
Cachin/Mena win doubles title
On Saturday, Pedro Cachin and Facundo Mena took the doubles title. The No. 4 seeds from Argentina edged past the all-Brazilian combination and top seeds Orlando Luz and Felipe Meligeni Rodrigues Alves 7-5, 6-3. The encounter lasted one hour and six minutes.
By winning their first team title, Cachin and Mena split €2,670 in prize money and earned 80 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
