Mitchell Krueger swept the Atlantic Tire Championships 2021 Summer Series in Cary, North Carolina by winning the first leg in July and the second leg last week.
Sixth seed Krueger completed the singles tournament by dropping only one set. Sunday’s victory was a two-set win over fellow US-American and good friend, Bjorn Fratangelo, 6-4, 6-3. The 27-year-old from Texas sent down nine aces and won 81 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after one hour and 31 minutes.

By lifting his third ATP Challenger career trophy, Krueger pocketed $7,200 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points, rising to a new career-high World No. 156.
The Atlantic Tire Championships, a USTA Pro Circuit ATP Challenger Tour 80 hard-court tournament, looks forward to hosting the event again in 2022.
