Daniel Elahi Galan of Colombia captured the title of the Dove Men & Care Legion Sudamericana Challenger Concepción hosted by the Club de Campo Bellavista in Concepción, Chile. The No. 3 seed of the $53,120 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court event overcame eighth-seeded Argentine Santiago Fa Rodriguez Taverna 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in Sunday’s singles final.
Galan struck three aces, won 72 per cent of his first-service points and converted three of his five break-point opportunities to prevail after one hour and 57 minutes.

The 25-year-old Bucaramanga native lifted his third ATP Challenger career trophy following his triumphs in San Benedetto, Italy 2018 and two years later in Lima, Peru. Galan earned $7,200 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
Galan also snapped a 14-match winning streak of Rodriguez Taverna. After two consecutive title wins on home soil at the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 event in Rio Cuarto as well as at the ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Tigre, the 22-year-old from Buenos Aires pocketed $4,240 in prize money and 50 ATP Ranking points. Rodriguez Taverna is projected to crack the Top 250 for the first time.
