M25 Nottingham GBR – Leandro Riedi battles through in Nottingham 

Twenty-year-old Leandro Riedi from Switzerland was crowned champion at the M25 Nottingham tournament, held at the Nottingham Tennis Centre. The former Junior World No. 6 defeated five British players en route to the title and needed to go the distance in four matches.

In the stage of the final four, Riedi edged out Alastair Gray in three sets.

Stuart Parker advanced to the final with a three-set win against his No. 5 seeded fellow British Billy Harris.

No. 4 seed Riedi converted six of his 13 break-point chances in the championship match and dropped two service games to succeed 6-1, 6-7, 6-1 after one hour and 53 minutes. The Frauenfeld native lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his second of the season. 

M25 Ulcinj MNE – Hamad Medjedovic wins third title of the season 

The Azul Beach Resort Montenegro Tour, hosted by Tennis Club Bellevue, concluded with the title win of teenager Hamad Medjedovic.

The Serbian qualifier, who was ranked World No. 9 in the ITF Juniors Ranking last season, eased past Mariano Kestelboim from Argentina in the stage of the last four in two sets.

Spanish No. 4 seed Alex Marti Pujolras finished the run of 18-year-old qualifier Stefan Popovic from Serbia in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Novi Pazar-born Medjedovic won 76 per cent of his first-service points in the title match and gained four breaks more to seal a 6-1, 6-2 victory in 75 minutes. The 18-year-old, who is based at the Novak Tennis Center of World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in Belgrade, celebrated his third career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them achieved on clay this season.

M25 Santa Margherita di Pula ITA – Jack Pinnington Jones dominates in Sardinia 

Jack Pinnington Jones took the title of the Fortevillage ITF Trophy, held at by ASD Fortevillage, without losing a set during the tournament.

The 19-year-old Briton made the last step to the final by defeating Spanish No. 6 seed Carlos Lopez Montagud in straight sets.

Italian teenager Giorgio Tabacco fought past German No. 7 seed Timo Stodder, who played college tennis for the University of Tennessee, in the semi-finals in three sets.

Unseeded Pinnington Jones outpointed his 18-year-old rival in the championship match 80-61 to seal a 7-5, 6-2 win in one hour and 43 minutes. The former Junior World No. 6, who was born in Kingston Uppon Thames, lifted his third singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Antalya TUR – Yuta Shimizu prevails on clay 

Left-handed Yuta Shimizu emerged victorious at the Antalya Series, hosted by the venue of Club Megasaray in Belek. 

The Japanese No. 4 seed cruised past seventh seed Hanwen Li from China in the stage of the final four in two sets.

No. 6 seed Pablo Llamas Ruiz of Spain took the last step to the final by defeating US-American Bruno Kuzuhara, the current Junior World No. 1, who clinched the trophy of the Australian Open earlier this season. 

Twenty-two-year-old Shimizu from Konan won 10 points less in the title match but secured a 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 win after two hours and 11 minutes. The former Junior World No. 5 celebrated his ninth singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his second on clay, following seven triumphs on hard court.

M15 Cairo EGY – Ignacio Monzon returns to winners’ circle 

Ignacio Monzon clinched the trophy at the Egypt Men’s Future, held at Al-Solaimaneyah Sporting Club in Alexandria. 

The 24-year-old Argentinian beat Vlad Andrei Dancu from Romania in the semi-finals in two sets.

Australian No. 2 seed Tristan Schoolkate advanced to the final with a straight-set win versus Fermin Tenti from Argentina.

Unseeded Monzon broke his 21-year-old rival in the championship match six times to triumph 6-1, 6-1 in 72 minutes. Following two title wins in 2019, the Corrientes native lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Monastir TUN – Skander Mansouri dominates on home soil 

Skander Mansouri captured the title of the Magic Hotel Tours tournament, hosted by Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir, without dropping a set.

The 26-year-old Tunisian benefited in the semi-finals from the withdrawal of French No. 8 seed Maxence Beauge.

Australian No. 2 seed Li Tu, who clinched the trophy in Cairo last week, booked another spot in the final with a straight-set win against No. 3 seeded US-American Omni Kumar.

Tunis-born Mansouri won 87 per cent of his first-service points and earned the only three breaks in the title match to claim a 6-4, 6-2 victory in 77 minutes. The top seed celebrated his 13th singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour and his 11th on Tunisian soil.
